ICO registration
Organisations in the UK that process personal information generally need to register with, and pay a data-protection fee to, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s independent regulator for data protection.
Our registration

Raising a data-protection concern
If you have a concern about how your personal data is handled, please contact us first at hello@elainewardcounselling.co.uk — see our privacy policy for your rights. You also have the right to complain directly to the ICO:
- Online: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint
- Helpline: 0303 123 1113
Reviewer note for Elaine (remove before publishing): confirm whether ICO registration is required for the practice and, if so, add the registration reference number once issued. If registration is not required (some sole practitioners are exempt), replace this page with a short statement of the exemption relied upon, confirmed with the ICO’s self-assessment.
